I love shooting Sugarloaf Cove. It's easily accessible and one of the darker locations along the Minnesota North Shore. If I had to pick one spot to sit back and watch the stars, this would be it.
You can shoot from anywhere along the cove, even walking out to the end of the point. There's also a trail loop to walk, though it's hard to walk at night without having flashbacks to Friday the 13th movies.
