Grand Tetons from Signal Moutain Summit Road on 9/13/2019 at 12:00pm
On my first trip to the Grand Tetons, I overheard a Park Ranger tell a few folks that Signal Mountain Summit Road provided a grand view of the Teton range. The only caveat was that you had to get there while the sun was still on the East side. Otherwise, the range would be in shadow.
My parents were a bit dismayed when I immediately started motioning them back to the car ... we had just stopped and there was a lovely view of the range from the back of the visitor center. But they played along and we made the mad dash up the curvy mountain road, getting there just in time.
