A Little Flare

I thought I was done shooting for the year, but two days of clear skies over the holiday break had other plans. The perfect time to catch the rising sun through the gap of Hollow Rock.
My attempts on the first day were a complete bust, but I learned what didn't work. With a bit of planning, I was ready for the second day. And ... wow! I took several shots, intentionally shooting directly into the sun to generate lens flare. It turned out better than I expected.
A word of caution ... don't try this unless you have some experience. You run the risk of frying your eyeballs and your equipment!
